A primeira edición do Congreso Internacional de Paratradución, Interlinguas e Transmedia, ParatradIT-2024_UVigo_T&P, vai camiño de converterse nun éxito e, a dúas semanas da súa celebración, a organización ten xa confirmados arredor de 240 participantes. A cita, que terá lugar entre os días 20 e 22 deste mes, tanto en modalidade presencial na Facultade de Filoloxía e Tradución como en formato virtual, ten como finalidade promover o diálogo entre o uso das linguas e das novas tecnoloxías dixitais con achegas e debates científicos nas cinco linguas do congreso: español, galego, francés, inglés e portugués.

Os profesores Óscar Ferreiro, José Yuste, Emmanuel Bourgoin e Ramón Méndez, membros do Grupo de Investigación TI4 Tradución & Paratradución (T&P), son os encargados da organización deste evento, e amósanse “moi satisfeitos” pola  acollida e pola participación, “que está a ter un éxito notable a nivel internacional”. De feito, contan con persoas inscritas de todo o estado Español e doutros 15 países, como Italia, Francia, Alemaña, Marrocos, Arabia Saudí, Rusia, Portugal, China, Xapón, Nixeria ou EEUU, entre outros. En total, presentaranse 80 comunicacións, cun total de 101 relatores, ao que hai que sumar tres conferenciantes plenarios, arredor de 110 asistentes e 28 participantes nos seis obradoiros complementarios ao congreso.

Equality Label

The Equality Label has been created to make the effort made by many in our University, who fight everyday to research, teach, transfer, manager and produce feministic and from a gender point of view scientific knowledge visible, and publicly and institutionally acknowledged. This initiative aims to acknowledge the work made by centres, schools and faculties in the field of a real and effective equality between men and women promotion, and, in this way, achieve a more human, equality and fair university.

The Faculty of Philology and Translation achieved the Equality Label on September 24, 2021.

Centre certified by FIDES-AUDIT

The Faculty of Philology and Translation designed a Quality Guarantee System in collaboration with the Quality Area of the University of Vigo, following the guidelines of the programme FIDES-AUDIT.

The ACSUG (Agency for Quality Assurance in the Galician University System) issued a positive evaluation of the design of the centre Quality Guarantee System on the 26th of April, 2010. Later, on the 7th of October, 2014, the ACSUG issued as positive the certification report of the implementation of the Quality Guarantee System in the centre.This certification has been renewed on 10/11/2022.
