Students of the FFT can attend curricular or extracurricular external academic internships (BOE [Official State Gazette], 297, 10th December 2011).
Curricular internships are organised as academic activities included in each Curriculum.
Extracurricular internships are those that students can attend on a voluntary basis during their training period that will not be included in the Curriculum. However, they will be considered in the European Diploma Supplement as determined by the applicable regulations.
At degree level, from the 2012/13 to the 2015/16 academic years, the faculty organised a total of 235 curricular internships with 55 different destinations (including companies, institutions, freelance translators and University internal services). To these we must add the management of 15 extracurricular internships from the FUVI, the Sports Service or the ORI.
The different master’s degrees can also offer external internships as part of their Curriculum and they are managed through the internship coordinators appointed in each master’s for this purpose.
