Short CV
Adriana Taboada González holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Santiago de Compostela (2014) and an MA in Advanced English Studies from the University of Vigo (2015); her MA dissertation was entitled “Gollum vs The Gollum: Ring-Bearing, Duality & Inner Conflict and their Narrative Centrality in J.R.R. Tolkien’s (and Peter Jackson’s) The Lord of the Rings” and supervised by Dr. Jorge L. Bueno Alonso. Adriana is currently working on her PhD, also under the supervision of Dr. Jorge L. Bueno Alonso, at the University of Vigo, where she studies the inter-relationship and narrative development of Frodo, Sam and Gollum in The Lord of the Rings. In 2017 she was awarded a two-year predoctoral grant from the University of Vigo.
